Once you empty the trash bin the entire application will be fully removed from your Apple computer.

Go to each of the folder and look for all items containing mojang in the name.

Locate minecraft folder and move it to Trash.

Copy and paste ~/Library/Application Support/ directory.

Hold Shift-Command-G to bring up Go to the folder window.

Now that you have removed the core application, continue on to find its leftover data.

Ctrl-click on Trash icon and choose Empty Trash.
